Company History
D-S Pipe & Steel Supply LLC is a family owned & family operated wholesale distributor located in Southwest Baltimore, Maryland. The company supplies the construction industry with steel pipe, valves, fittings, structural steel and custom fabrication. In 1979 John W. Keehner, along with three partners founded D-S Pipe & Supply Co. The company was started with seven employees, one truck, and a 27,000 square foot warehouse in Little Italy. In 1988, John Keehner bought out his partners and the business grew rapidly.
With a long anticipated entry back into the structural steel business, DS Steel Supply LLC was started in January 2007, this business rapidly grew in a short period of time.In March of 2009, the company tripled its size with 4 additional experienced & seasoned sales people to carry the sales to the next level.
In May 2011, DS Pipe & Supply and DS Steel Supply merged into one entity. The new company name is DS Pipe & Steel Supply LLC.
Today, Chris J. Keehner & Sean W. Keehner run the company with 110 full-time employees, a fleet of 25 trucks covering 5 states with a 150 mile radius on a daily basis, and an enclosed 400,000 square foot warehouse offering next day delivery on our trucks......
